FSI Awarded SSC Pacific Sustainment Engineering and Technical Support Services for PMW 120 METOC Systems

On June 30, 2017, SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific (SSC Pacific) Program Manager Warfare (PMW) 120 and Fleet Readiness Director (FRD) announced that Forward Slope, Inc. (FSI) was awarded the Sustainment Engineering and Technical Support Services Support task order. FSI will be responsible for providing design, engineering, testing, and maintenance for the Meteorological and Oceanographic (METOC) Capability Based – In-Service Engineering Activity (CB-ISEA) Sustainment Engineering (SE) services to support PMW 120 METOC Systems.

FSI Team Participates at UCSD Career Fair

On April 12, 2017 FSI Team (Ms. Aguilar, Mrs. Corral, Mrs. Gunthardt, Mr. Hart, and Mr. Mak), participated at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) Career Fair. Our team met with hundreds of UCSD students and received over 400 resumes to potentially fill several FSI open positions. As a direct result of the career fair, FSI has hired two summer interns and interviewed many other candidates for future technical positions.

On December 13, 2016, FSI Operations Manager Miss. Rebecca Aguilar and FSI employees made donations to a local San Diego middle school for “The Giving Tree’s” Adopt a Child program. The charity supports at risk and needy children. 2016 employee donations topped all past years! FSI’s charitable giving fund also matched each employee donation.

On December 2, 2016, FSI President and CEO Mr. Carlos Persichetti was an invited guest lecturer for two University of San Diego (USD) business classes called Business and Society. His lecture topic was on business ethics and society. He spoke to Dr. Abby Berk’s graduate classes in the School of Business at USD as part of FSI’s Business Outreach Program. Following those lectures, Mr. Persichetti had lunch with the new Dean of the Business School.

FSI Awarded SPAWAR Elevated Persistent Surveillance System (EPSS)

On August 11, 2016 it was announced that Forward Slope, Inc. was awarded the Elevated Persistent Surveillance System (EPSS) for the Program Executive Office (PEO), Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I), International C4I Integration Program Office (PMW 740). In this two year contract, FSI will be responsible for four specific EPSS procurements that will support the Government of Uganda.
